Gnome LogoGnome 3 is the latest version of Gnome desktop environment for Linux. It have presented a stylish and much better looks for the desktop. In previous post I have mentioned how to Install the Gnome Tweak Tool which could be used to extend the functionality of Gnome 3 to a Great extend.

One of the disadvantages of Gnome 3 is that, it do not display Power off option in the users menu. It has only option to suspend the Operating System, but this option is not a good choice if you prefer powering off your system when you are not using it. Here is how you can get Power Off options in the Gnome 3 users menu.

The default Gnome 3 Users menu will be looking somewhat like this.
