PhotoFiltre – Free Image editing and effects tool

PhotoFiltrePhotofiltre is a simple Image editing or Creation tool that can be used to create or edit an existing image file. What makes it different from Gimp is it capability to process vector graphics where gimp processes on raw data. Photofiltre also provides advanced effects and filters which can be applied at the click o the mouse. It provdes some advanced features like the ones provided by professional image editing tools like Photoshop or Gimp.

Photofltre offers all the functionality of an advanced image editor as well as a large selection of image efects,  image adjustments, photo masks, thumbnail image browser and much more. This tool also provides one click solution to perform some image enhancements like sharpening, softening, Blurring, reinforcing, Gamma correction, contrast, brightness etc. This enables the quick enhancement of images.

Another major advantage of this toolis that it supports batch processing which enables it to apply filters, sizing, adjustments and transformations to a large number of images at once. This saves a lot of time and energy when compared to professional tools which allows only processing of one image at a time. This tool also supports additional addon support which enhances the capability of the whole software. The additional addons can be downloaded and installed from the photofilter website.

The mjor disadvantage of the old versons of this tool is that it does not allow layer based editing like that of the advanced image editors. But the latest versions now support layers and transparency with Alpha Channel.
